Scope

The following terms and conditions apply for the sale of goods and rendering of services provided by BuyWacom Australia through the BuyWacom.com.au website.

Information Collection

BuyWacom Australia requires the customer's personal data that they provide during the purchase or registration for the purpose of the contract execution. This includes both compulsory and voluntary data. The recorded and saved data includes, for example the name of the customer, their address, e-mail address and contact phone number. BuyWacom Australia collects and saves this data for itself and Wacoms use and is not passed on to third parties

Sale

You submit a binding offer for the conclusion of a purchase order contract by completing an order on the BuyWacom.com.au website. Acceptance of the offer is via the delivery of the goods you have ordered. As confirmation of your order, you shall receive a copy of your order as an e-mail.

Delivery period

When checking out you can select either Standard Courier or Express Courier. The cost of the frieght is calculated by the weight of the order. In general Express Courier is faster but more expensive per kilo. Standard Courier is slower but cheaper per kilo. We recommend selecting Express for small orders and Standard for larger orders. Orders for items in stock shipped Express should arrive within 2 working days. Orders for items in stock shipped Standard may take up to 5 working days to arrive. These delivery estimates are for major metropolitan areas of Australia. Please allow longer for rural locations and Western Australia.
BuyWacom Australia makes every effort to deliver the goods in a resonable time. If the delivery period is unacceptable for the customer the order may be cancelled with no penalty except in the case where the delivery is delayed for reasons for which the customer can be held liable.

Terms of payment

Payment of the goods is effected by debiting the customer's credit card on the date the goods are sent. All goods remain the property of BuyWacom Australia until payment is made in full.

Warranty

The limitation period for defects is 12 months and begins on the date of invoice of the goods to the customer. If goods delivered by BuyWacom Australia contain a defect, BuyWacom Australia is initially entitled to either remedy the defect or carry out a replacement delivery at their own discretion. Any claims of the customer that go beyond this, in particular claims for damages including lost profit and claims on the grounds of other financial losses suffered by the customer, are excluded.
